Gold Coast visitors arriving on domestic
flights will arrive at either the
Gold Coast airport
or the Brisbane domestic terminal.
Overseas visitors will most likely be arriving at the
Brisbane international
airport terminal.
Domestic carriers are
Qantas,
Virgin Blue
and
Jetstar.
The flight time is 1 hour from Sydney to the Gold Coast and approximately 2
hours from Melbourne.
From the Brisbane airport terminals to Broadbeach involves a
drive time of approx 1hr on the Pacific Motorway. From the Gold Coast airport at
Coolangatta it takes approximately 15-20 mins by road to Broadbeach.
Unless you have your own vehicle, getting to and from the
airports will involve airport transfers. Surf Parade Resort guests have a
choice of one of the following:
1) Door-to-door services are
also provided by several shuttle bus
services and limousine operators from both Brisbane and Coolangatta airports.
2)
Taxi cabs are available from the Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta. Maxi cabs
are available for larger groups. The price is per flag fall and distance
travelled.
3) If a vehicle rental is to be
part of your holiday, arranging a pick-up and drop-off at the Gold Coast airport
saves the cost of transfers. Surf Parade Resort can arrange all vehicle
rentals as a complimentary service to guests.

Wine and dine in the many local international restaurants and cafes. Visit one
of the local theme parks - Dreamworld, Movieworld, Wet'n'Wild and Seaworld. Shop
at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre or be entertained at Conrad Jupiter's Casino.
